BCCHI  is proud to announce the creation of the POWA Program

(Portuguese with Aloha!) and its courses on Portuguese as a foreign language, one of a kind in Hawaii:

Introduction to Portuguese & Brazilian Culture I

Introduction to Portuguese & Brazilian Culture II

Learn basic conversational Portuguese in real-life situations;

Get acquainted with several aspects of Brazilian culture;

In addition to dynamic language classes, the course will feature Brazilian movies, cuisine, music, and the like with hands-on classes and workshops.  Highly experienced, native speakers of Portuguese teachers provide an integrated course that is interesting and fun!

Semi-intensive 10-week course on Tuesdays and Thrusdays  from 5:30 to 7:30  10 Week Course

Introduction to Portuguese & Brazilian Culture II 10 Week Course

Mondays and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm

Two-hour classes designed to introduce Portuguese language and Brazilian culture

to  provide valuable practice in communication,

reading, writing for intermediate students.
